INSANITY!
Google continues to make headlines in October: and it's not all good news. The Pixel 8 has a few camera issues, and the Chromebook will no longer support two video formats. But there's good news too, as Chrome's address bar is getting upgraded, Fitbit Step Streaks is making a comeback, and Google Wallet now supports barcode and QR Code passes. On the Android front, OnePlus unveiled its first foldable phone, the aptly named OnePlus Open and Samsung now conveniently offers same-day repairs at Batteries Plus retailers.
Netflix made more news this week by announcing it was discontinuing support for older hardware like the PS Vita. Best Buy is taking a note from Netflix, as it announced 2023 will be the last holiday season it'll sell DVDs and Blu-rays. Yet again, Netflix is raising its rates again, which makes about as much sense as Apple's weird pencil it unveiled.
Lastly, it was a good week for EVs. BMW and ChargePoint both announced plans to adopt the NAC charging standard, joining Tesla's Supercharger network. In other news, the Tor Browser got a slew of much-needed updates, including a landscape aspect ratio, and Logitech's new MIXLINE audio mixing software entered open beta. 还有很多的大语言模型就不测试了，但我相信，他们会变得越来越好的。
